Our company, BA Locksmith & Security LLC offers fast, friendly, mobile service. We are a service oriented business that comes directly to your home or business. We specialize in commercial and residential locks and access control systems. Many of our customers call for quick service, re-keying of their home or business.
We are exceptional installers of exit devices and can repair them to proper working order. One of our goals is to help make our schools safe by installing anti-intruder classroom levers and access control systems on the entrances. ABOUT THE OWNER
Ben A. Fields began his career as a locksmith apprentice to a master locksmith and former police officer in May of 1995. After a few months of shop experience which consisted of dispatching techs to service calls, rekeying/repairing various locks, and organizing the work space, he was promoted to outside service technician. This was Ben’s favorite part of the job. He loved meeting new people in different places. Most of all, he loved working with his crafty hands to problem solve and make broken mechanical things right again. After 5 years of working under his mentor and becoming a journeyman locksmith, he left the company to explore new challenges.
Ben progressed his career by moving on to an inside sales position with a locksmith supply company. There he increased his knowledge of lock parts and manufacturers exponentially. After working in locksmith supply sales, Ben worked for 6 months in a locksmith shop in Switzerland where he further expanded his knowledge and skills of the trade. Ben then took a temporary locksmith position as a jailhouse locksmith where he expanded his knowledge of detention hardware. These skills would come in handy years later when he was contracted to make repairs at various county courthouse holding cells. He passed an extensive background check and the county locksmith exam with a score of 100%.
In 2004, Ben decided to open BA Locksmith & Security LLC to provide customers with reliable mobile lock and security services. With over 26 years of experience, he guarantees customer satisfaction by getting the job done right the first time and at a fair price. His team is 5 star rated on Google and Yelp.
